The children will learn how to punctuate and develop sentence correctly by varying punctuation and vocabulary.
Year 6 will develop fluency between representations of mathematical ideas and explore connections across mathematical ideas to develop mathematical reasoning and competence in solving increasingly sophisticated problems. The children will learn a variety of methods to enhance their problem solving skills.
The children will be encouraged to understand how science can be used to explain what is occurring, predict how things will behave, and analyse causes. Year 6 will also develop their understanding of the nature, processes and methods of science through different types of science enquiries that will help them to answer scientific questions about the world around them
