Fundraising for Ibrahim Uddin
Year 10 students, Oliver Tomkins, Dylan Cooper-Stubbs and Matthew Brown, have been raising funds to support the family of a fellow pupil, who was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma cancer earlier in the year and needed treatment in the USA. There were a number a fund-raising activities, including the Festival of Creativity, cake sales, and four sponsored 5k park runs. A total of £2228.85 was raised. The family said: "We just want to say a huge thank you to Ibrahim's great school friends. Not only have you guys stood by him through all of this, keeping him sane by playing strategy games with him. But you guys also raised an incredible amount!"
The students would like to thank the staff, particularly Mr Goodacre, Miss Stirling and Mr Frost, for their support, as well as pupils, parents and friends for their generosity.
