Primary H2O Heroes

Selected Y5s and Y6s will lead behaviour change campaigns to get people in their community saving water this term.

H2O Heroes gets students taking action to save water at school - and then celebrates the results. Global Action run will run workshops, to get our Y5s and Y6s thinking about how sustainable of our water supply is. This will empower them to create and lead a behaviour change intervention of their own.

Talking to their peers, teachers and family members will help students spot the ways that people waste water, such as showering for longer than five minutes.

They will put together an action plan to challenge this behaviour, and engage people from school community along the way. As a participating school, Prendergast Vale will also get a water audit and up to £500 worth of free water efficiency devices installed on the spot, too!
